Differences

  1. Even though we present a similar lust of the human body, we show it in different medias. While i paint the human body, I also am very interested in textiles and fabric and patterns. So my work ends up like a forest of colors and shapes surrounding the beauty of the human body. Your work is very beautiful but it is presented as a sculpture, and that shines in the light and is dull in color. The color of your work gives me a feeling of sorrow and the dramatic positions of the body.

  2. Although we have the same taste in very detailed "fine" art, we both seem to be in different types of genres. Of course, from what I can tell, your art is mostly working with your hands and sculpting, whereas with my type of art I prefer the drawing type but besides that very nice!

  3. It appears we both ran into love through our artistic passion! Although, It was the man that later became my husband that inspired me to write. Unlike you, I married him to get closer to the world of literature considering he was a poet too. I hardly found him to be a distraction from my goal. And that realization of free choice that was thrust upon me over my marriage only made me stronger! Somehow I knew that this fluttering romance would paint my adolescent fantasies and an unbending bond into poetry from the loveliness of my heart. Though my childhood home put a slight admiration towards mother nature's creation of dirt and sky, love and the present conflicts was my main focus. Like most, my father did object to some of my decisions, but my chosen occupation never crossed his mind. My parents were always supportive of writing, period.
